At small scale, buying a tank is a procurement exercise. At the 50,000 m3 class, it becomes a logistics project. The volume of gas a plant stores at that size is no longer a buffer for a single digester; it is working storage for a facility with a committed offtake, an upgrading train or a grid injection point, and the storage has to be available continuously. Every week lost to a shipping problem is a week of flaring or of unmet delivery obligations.
