Glass Fused to Steel Drinking Water Storage Tanks for Municipal Water & Wastewater Treatment
Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks, also known as Glass-Lined-Steel tanks, this is the only tank finish where two materials are fused together to achieve the best of both: the strength and flexibility of the steel combined with the corrosion resistance of the glass. The high temperature fusion of glass to steel fired at 820°C-930°C results in an inert, durable finish. Applied to both interior and exterior, the GFS technology is able to withstand the rigours of the construction site and provide many years of trouble free service in harsh environments. Glass fused to steel industrial liquid tanks are used for industrial wastewater treatment plant. Center Enamel's Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks engineering design meet or exceed AWWA D103-09 and EN/ISO28765:2011, and our GFS tank engineers make tank engineering calculation on each specific tank structure according to project local environmental conditions, such as snow load, wind speed, seismic zone etc., to make sure the tank structure's adequate security in long-term service life.
