Description of Glass-lined Storage Tanks :
Glass lined storage tanks is more commonly known as “ glass fused-to-steel ” tanks. This glass lined bolted tanks come with a number of roof options such as a glass lined roof, aluminum dome, trough, or open top. The glass lining forms a hard, chemically inert layer that permanently protects the steel surface from rust, corrosion, undercutting, abrasion and stains. The tank panels are lined inside and out with a glass enamel that binds to the metal providing many advantages over standard epoxy coated or welded painted storage tanks.
Furthermore, the quality of our product is shown by the wide variety of industry standards we meet. In fact, our glass-lined storage tanks not only meet, but far exceed AWWA D103, providing products of compromised strength and safety.
Application Glass-lined Storage Tank :
Glass lined bolted steel tanks are able to withstand extreme environments such as snow loads, high wind conditions, seismic loading and wide temperature fluctuations. They are exceptional for storing potable water, fire water, petroleum products, chemicals, dry bulk and wastewater.
