Acid Resistant Glass Fused Leachate Storage Tanks With Over 30 Years Span Life
Introduction of Leachate Storage Tanks
Leachate is the liquid that seeps through solid waste in the landfill and extracts soluble, dissolved and suspended materials in the process. This highly corrosive liquid needs to be properly managed and store, to prevent the leachate contaminated water from seeping into the ground water prior to treatment.
There are only few tanks that have abilities to store landfill leachate, which with the variability in composition. When a project comes with leachate storage tanks, the landfill operator’s first option is Center Enamel’s glass fused to steel leachate storage tanks.
Acid Resistance Test of GFS Leachate Storage Tanks
1. 10% citric acid solution
2. Place on the overlapping of three filter paper 3cmx3cm, use a dropper to drop the 10% citric acid solution,
3. After 15 minutes at room temperature 20 - 25℃, remove the filter paper and rinse with water.
4. Check the enamel surface

1. Test the adhesive ability of glassed lined sheet
2. Put the enameled steel on the base of hydropress, close decompression valve
3. Make hydropress pressing up to 15MPa
