Unlike traditional epoxy-coated or galvanized tanks, Center Enamel’s GFS technology involves a factory-controlled thermal fusion process at temperatures exceeding 820°C.
Inert Barrier: The glass surface is inorganic and non-porous. It does not react with diesel or modern biodiesel blends, preventing the chemical leaching and "peeling" common in organic epoxy linings.
Anti-Static & Low Friction: The ultra-smooth vitreous enamel finish reduces internal friction and limits the accumulation of sludge and sediment at the bottom of the tank, facilitating easier cleaning and maintenance.
1500V Holiday Protection: Every GFS panel manufactured by Center Enamel undergoes a 1500V high-voltage spark test. This ensures a 100% continuous, zero-defect barrier, preventing any contact between the fuel and the steel substrate.

How does GFS compare to Stainless Steel for diesel storage?
While stainless steel is high quality, Center Enamel GFS tanks offer comparable corrosion resistance at a significantly lower capital cost. Furthermore, the modular bolted construction allows for much faster installation in remote or space-constrained areas.
Can Center Enamel GFS tanks handle biodiesel?
Yes. Modern biodiesel can be more chemically aggressive than traditional petroleum diesel. Our glass formulations are inert (pH 1–14), meaning they will not be degraded by the higher solvency of biodiesel blends.
