Anaerobic digestion (AD) is one of the most established technologies for processing waste
organics. Our Glass-Fused-to-Steel Tanks are widely used as anaerobic digestion tanks for wastewater treatment project, special for food processing wastewater treatment. Food processing wastewaters are generated mainly from food-processing industries, food services and retail establishments. As we all know, The characteristics of food processing wastewater vary greatly. Food processing wastewater usually contains dissolved or colloidal forms of organic matter.
Biological treatment is considered to be the most suitable method for the treatment of food processing wastewater. The method used depends on the characteristics of the wastewater being treated. Among the existing aerobic and anaerobic treatment methods, the most effective methods include activated sludge, biofiltration, anaerobic digestion, oxidation ponds, lagoons and sprinkler irrigation.
