Introduction of GFS waste water storage tank
Glass fused to steel (GFS) tank is the bolted tank fused with enamel frits and ART enamel special steel sheet, the fusibility between the enamel frit and steel sheet is excellent, which is unlike other tank their coating just sit on the surface of the steel. The construction time of GFS tank is short ,while the maintenance cost of it is little.
About the installation, usually we install the tank from the top ring to bottom ring, one by one. We use jack or steel pole to do the installation, there is no need any big equipment during the construction. Sealant and bolts will be used, in the junction place of the steel sheet, we will apply with sealant to prevent and leakage.
With it’s excellent corrosion resistance of glass, as well as it’s flexibility and strength of steel, the service life of GFS tank is more than 30 years, which is widely applied to waste water treatment, drinking water storage and biogas projects.
