What is vitrum ?
Vitrum ™ is our proprietary titanium Dioxide (TiO2) glassing process applied in a 3-coat , 1-fire (3c1f) process procedure. Vitrum is also produced in a 3-coat, 2-fire (3c2f) process primarily when special colors are requested or thicker layers of glass are required .
Vitrum technology combines the outstanding chemical and physical resistant of titanium dioxide - enhanced (TiO2) glass with a highly engineered , ultra-fine glass bubble structure for durability and flexibility . Vitrum glass – fused – to - steel coating range from 7 - 15mils / 180-380 microns exterior and 10 - 18mils / 260 - 460 microns interior in thickness .
