Self-supporting aluminum dome

The aluminum dome in the center is designed as a self-supporting dome roof, so that only its outer edge is connected to the rim of the tank shell surrounding the outer ring. The roof or deck must be floated through an erected central pillar, which reduces efficiency and no longer requires these systems. This advanced structural design leads to a significant reduction in evaporation loss.

Lightweight structure

The weight of our aluminum dome cover is only 10-15% similar to a self-supporting steel roof. The system therefore provides a cost-optimized solution by reducing the weight of the tank cover and is also suitable for the transformation of existing floating roof tanks. It is designed to operate without a steel roof. The stored products are therefore completely free from rainwater pollution and eliminate the malfunction of the floating roof drainage system.
